3. GEL battery

It is to store the electrical energy supplied by the solar panels and to release the electrical energy to run the electrical appliances. We are offering GEL battery in solar power system due to its superior product performance including:

Regular Questions And Answers

1. How to select the solar power generating system?

- To choose a proper system according to your exact needs of the electricity consumption. For example if your house is consuming 3kwh per day, you just choose the 3kwh system.

2. Why the input power capacity is different from the output power capacity?

- Input power represents the energy supplied by solar panels, it has nothing to do with the solar system output but results only in the system daily generating capacity.

- Output power represents the total power capacity produced by the solar system to run the home electric appliances.

- For example, a solar system could be made in 100W input with 5000W output, means it can run total 5000W of home electric appliances in a same time but only available in 0.08hours.

- As a principle, the using time of the electric appliances is decided by the Solar system input capacity while the inverter volume decided by the total power capacity of home appliances you want to run.

3. Air conditioner could be run by solar power generating system?

- Yes it could be run but it is not recommended due to the budget problem of big capacity solar system and the frequency change of storage batteries in 2~3 years.

- For those home electric appliances with inductive loads (e.g. compressor) such as refrigerators and air conditioners, the instant starting power must be 3~7 times than the rated power. In this case, a 3000W (and up) solar system is requested for running a 1hp air-conditioner, and a 5000W (and up) solar system is requested for running a 1.5hp air-conditioner.

4. How many KWH could be produced per day by a solar panel?

- Usually the said power generation of a solar panel represents its maximum power generation, but depends on the light intensity the exact power generation could be different. For example in the early morning the sunlight is weak, the power generation of a 250W solar panel might produce only 30W=0.03KWH per hour under sunlight.

- In our documents, “one day” represents 4 hours with strong sunlight, if there are more stronger sunlight and more longer sunlight time in your region, you could produce more KWH per day.

For example, if 1pc of 250W solar panel works for 4 hours, then 250W × 4 hours / 1000 = 1 KWH

5. How to know whether a Solar panel is in standard quality or not?

1. A quality solar panel could be judged by its’ panel surface area, usually 1 square meter of solar panel equals to 150W.

2. Check the solar panel by electrical multi-meter for testing the short circuit current and the starting current.
